How to Write Letter ? / Letter Writing

There are two types of letters
1. Formal letter
2. Informal letter

"Informal" means something you would write to your Parents/Family, relatives, and friends. It means we write informal letters to people whom we know well.

"Formal" means something you would write to a business organization, College/School, and government authorities, etc. Customers write a formal letter to businessmen about defective products, employees write a formal letter at the workplace.

Write an informal letter to your father, updating about your studies, hostel life, and friends.

Subject: Complaint about rush driving by youngsters
Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I reside at Karjat, a locality that has wide roads and a broadside of a road for people to walk. And the number of vehicles on the roads is on the rise Due to this traffic jams growing.

I strongly suggest, on behalf of the residents of this neighborhood, request you take action as soon as possible to bring this situation under check. Otherwise, there is a high chance that our locality will become an accident-prone-zone, and innocent citizens will have to think twice before stepping out of their houses.

Yours truly,
ABC.

To,

Subject: Inconvenience of a bus service due to very few and lack of timely bus service.

Respected sir,

I am a student of ‘S.S commerce college’ Ghansli and I use the bus service on a regular for going to and coming from college. I would like to bring to your attention that in the morning there is a huge crowd and few of them choose to travel from taxis,  ‘Ola’,  ‘Uber’ etc. But everyone cannot afford that much traveling cost. Students like me who belong to the weaker economic section of society need the bus service as we cannot afford to travel by private vehicles.

The bus service provided by the State Transport bus service is extremely poor. Most of the time the buses are late and since the number of buses is less, the people make a rush to get in without observing discipline. Many junior college students and passengers find it a difficult task to catch these buses.

My humble request is to inform the authorities to increase the number of bus service in the morning time on this route on time.

Thanking You,
Yours Faithfully,
       XYZ
